The A04 Advertising Photography Course is an ILAS-developed training program. Ugo Pons Salabelle, a nationally renowned professional advertising photographer, brings his technical expertise to this training. Salabelle works with Pierluigi De Simone, a professional advertising photographer and Co-Director of the Rotili De Simone photography studio. Salvio Parisi teaches the Fashion Photography workshops while Daria La Ragione teaches the History of Photography module. The course structure melds lectures on photographic techniques, experimentation, and an in-depth analysis of the practice through two labs: the main photography lab where students will practice the most requested types of shots when working (still life, food, and fashion photography); the second involves computer graphics on the brand new iMac Retina 4K to learn photo retouching and post-production with the Adobe Photoshop software taught by the most qualified Adobe Certified Instructors (ACI) and Adobe Certified Experts (ACE).
Module 01 is taught by Professor Salabelle in the December sessions and by Professor De Simone in the October, November, February, and May sessions

ILAS photography courses aim at the in-depth study of the theory and advanced techniques of advertising photography. To meet this objective, the courses are held entirely within the 100 square meter ILAS school equipped with the profession's best available equipment: Bowens flashes and LED lights mounted on mobile rails; Apple iMac computers with Capture One, Photoshop, and Camera Raw software; the new ELINCHROM flashlights; the Manfrotto still life table; Nikon D850 digital cameras; Canon 5D, and 12-24mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 80-200mm professional optics.
We organize events, exhibitions, contests, seminars, and workshops for our students every year.
This new ILAS course offers video shooting techniques for filmmakers. In eight lessons, the teacher instructs how to use the key equipment for making professional videos. Lesson by lesson, this clear and defined program gives students the opportunity to experiment with the most popular equipment used by filmmakers.
An exhibition of the best shots taken by the annual photography
course students
will be organized at the end of the year
The ILAS Gallery is a powerful promotional tool for ILAS students. Each student can enter their own works created during the courses and inside the ILAS Gallery by adding their own photo and contacts to various social media networks, including Facebook, Behance, Pinterest, and Skype.
